gmail sucks

things it does that sucks:

  1. Shows 20 per page even though I’ve set 100 per page if i use in: as well as a label: filter (shows 100 per page otherwise)
  2. Lacks ability to select all that match certain terms that aren’t on this page, what if i click ‘all’ and mean ‘check all, all that match this search, even ones not on this page, dangit’, so that i can archive a LOT of things that are label:MozBugz and in:Inbox because i just wanted them to start skipping the inbox but filters aren’t enacted retroactively. (I’d hate to make it require a filter to do these kinds of major tasks in the future when they are retroactive)
  3. It doesn’t properly keep track of bugzilla bugs (i saw it mix bugs together because i marked one as a dupe of the other, and so it showed the ‘this is a dupe’ message in the original)

i mentioned the last thing in their make a suggestion page, which currently has some really neat suggestions and i’d like to suggest most of them (not all) instead of just limit 5.

  2. I would say mum2twelve@gmail.com BUT since my address has crashed and nothing I do can get me in… it would be rather useless to use this address. And try to get help from google - you would get more help from a fireant to put a fire out! Bad on you Google encouraging people to use your email and then screw them like that. Bad on you!!!! Me thinks it is time to go back to yahoo! At least they have real people who answer your questions there.
