Sin City 2 And 3 Get The Green Light
Robert Rodriguez will be shooting back to back sequels for SIN CITY 2 and 3 starting February of next year for a release presumably summer of 2007.
I liked the first movie a lot, so this is good news for me.

I like the stylization, the look of the film, and went with high expectations, but walked away disappointed. There was more violent scenes than story. And even if it was a film noir comic, the stylization and a strong interweaving of stories would have successfully delivered the movie to the audience. Sometimes, more is not better. Are we becoming so insensitive to violence that we have to be overwhelmed by it before we feel its impact. Sin City’s violence was often gratuitous, offering nothing, and just because it wasn’t always red blood, that did not make it any less disturbing.
